Challenge your Mind
If you stare at the following picture long enough,
you should see a giraffe...

Gotcha! But the rest of these optical illusions are on the level.
Should you always believe what your eyes tell you? Do you sometimes see things that aren't really there? If you have heard people say "My eyes are deceiving me," you will understand what "optical illusion" means. Sometimes your eyes play tricks on you. You can be looking at something and see something completely different. Or perhaps you can't really see what you are looking at.
An optical illusion (also called a visual illusion) is characterized by visually perceived images that are deceptive or misleading. The information gathered by the eye is processed by the brain to give a percept that does not tally with a physical measurement of the stimulus source.
How many people are there?

There are 5, Can you find them all?
A Face or the word Liar?

The following pictures are NOT animated

Your eyes are making them move. To test this, stare at one spot in each picture for a few seconds and everything will stop moving; OR look at the black center of each circle in the first picture, and it will stop moving; but when you move your eyes to the next black center, the previous one will move after you take your eyes away from it.
