20 Under 25: The Top-Earning Young Superstars

In Picture: Hilary Duff-’tween merchandise mogul has replaced the Olsen Twins in the list.

In addition to his collection of All-Star MVP and Rookie of the Year titles, LeBron James, the likable forward for the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers, can cram another honorific on his crowded mantelpiece. King James--as he is known by his army of fans--tops Forbes' 20 Under 25 list of the Top-Earning Young Superstars, thanks to the $27 million he banked between June 2006 and June 2007.

That paycheck could be the low-end of James' earning potential. James, who turns 23 on Dec. 30, is primed to outpace Los Angeles Laker Kobe Bryant, 29, as the highest-paid player in the NBA this year, thanks to a rich new four-year $60 million contract that has the Cavs paying him $13 million his first year. Endorsement deals with Nike (nyse: NKE - news - people ), Coca-Cola (nyse: KO - news - people ) and Upper Deck, among others, easily eclipse his on-court salary.

Those kinds of lucrative endorsement deals landed athletes in the top four slots of the 20 Under 25 list. Reggie Bush, 22-year-old running back for the NFL's New Orleans Saints, nabbed the No. 2 spot with $24 million, followed by comely tennis ace Maria Sharapova, who pocketed $23 million (only $3.8 million from winnings). The world's highest-paid female athlete, Sharapova edges out golf phenom Michelle Wie, who occupies the No. 4 spot with $19 million.

Here's the complete list:

1. LeBron James, age 22, earns $27 million
2. Reggie Bush, 22, $24 million
3. Maria Sharapova, 20, $23 million
4. Michelle Wie, 18, $19 million

It's gonna be SEASON 5 for ONE TREE HILL

In Picture: The upcoming season spoiler pic of the cast.

The CW Network’s hit drama ONE TREE HILL returns for season five with a special two-hour premiere on Tuesday, January 8 (8:00-10:00 p.m. ET). Subsequent episodes will take over the 9:00-10:00 p.m. ET timeslot beginning Tuesday, January 15, following an encore presentation of CROWNED: THE MOTHER OF ALL PAGEANTS. REAPER will return to the schedule with original episodes later in the season.
The fifth season of ONE TREE HILL will be unprecedented in the annals of television drama, as the show leaps forward four years. Season four ended as the young characters graduated high school and season five begins, post-college, four years later. Some of the characters have found success while others have failed. Some are the same, some are very different. And while their storylines will actively move forward, the show will also dip into the past, returning to incidents and events of the last four years, sometimes for a moment or a scene, other times for an entire episode.

ONE TREE HILL was created by Mark Schwahn and is executive produced by Schwahn, Joe Davola, Greg Prange, Mike Tollin and Brian Robbins. ONE TREE HILL is a Tollin/Robbins Production in association with Warner Bros. Television.
